a year ago today i was getting ready for my first date with the man who is now my husband. it is crazy where life will take you in just a year.

i love basketball. i love march madness. my life this year has presented such madness that i cannot even tell you what went down on selection sunday... i have not watched one game... SAD. i plan on catching up this weekend.

someone put another pot of extra strong coffee on ... it is going to be a long one.

i love this fun green vegetable. it tastes good and it is fun to eat! i enjoyed a BIG bowl for dinner. summer... i am ready for fresh okra... please come soon!

we had our first overnight company. we had a cozy night on the hill ... a warm dinner ...great conversation... and tons of laughter. a late night showing of sisterhood of the traveling pants part II. all of the things in life that leave you refreshed and rested. thanks kelley and chelsea for the great visit.
